I’ve been thinking about the uphill battle some services face when it comes to awareness—auto warranty being a prime example. Unlike auto insurance, which gets to ride the wave of legal mandate, warranties are left to fend for themselves in a crowded, skeptical marketplace.

But just because they’re not required by law doesn’t mean they’re not essential.

One protects you from other drivers. The other protects the car that makes your life work.

To explore this a bit, I helped craft a demo page for an 👉 auto warranty brand.

 who actually feels urgency around this kind of product?

Rather than targeting a broad “car owner” audience, native lets us dig deeper. Here are a few personas I’m fascinated by:

  • Gig drivers (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Postmates): No car = no income. A warranty becomes less of a maybe, more of a must.
  • Transplants & relocators: People who’ve just moved and are juggling DMV visits, new mechanics, and unfamiliar terrain—one blown gasket away from chaos.
  • Empty-nesters hitting the road: Retirement dreams don’t include surprise transmission bills in the desert.

And just a thought—not trying to turn anyone into Marty Byrde—but for folks relying on their vehicle for work, a good tax professional might be able to help write off an auto warranty as a legit business expense. 😉 To Ozark fans out there—you get it.
